Challenge: to create private, usable, vista-capturing space on a narrow lot that is perched on a major ravine

Solution: the design layers privacy elements, starting with the landscape along the property fence & moving across to a sunken, cantilevered deck that is enveloped in greenery yet open to the breathtaking views. The design takes advantage of the whole property through creation of a looped path. Multiple benches along the path provide distinctive vantage points.  A yoga patio nestled into the trees provides a meditative, restorative space.
